Source: VEB may cut personnel to 500 people in 2019
MOSCOW, Jul 5 (PRIME) -- Russia’s state-owned Vnesheconombank (VEB) may reduce its staff to 500 people to optimize business processes and raise the performance, a source close to the situation told PRIME on Thursday.
In June, a spokesperson for the bank announced plans to lay off 40–50% of the current staff.
In 2017, the average staff of VEB’s employees comprised 1,795 people. The salary fund for 2017 was 7.1 billion rubles.
